Let's play Golf!

The Adriatic Sea is the coast between Venice and Rimini, it has   always been the place where a lot of tourists (expecially Germans and   Italians) used to spend their holiday among slot machines, spaghetti,   sand castles and shoes markets, until some hoteliers just like the Boni   family, who runs the Hotel Majestic, the Hotel Solemare and the Garnì   Isabella in Milano Marittima, had the brillian idea to promote golf to   couple the holiday on the beach.

Under the guide of a golf expert as Maurizio De Vito Piscicelli and   other collegues, the hoteliers developed the concept of the Emilia   Romagna Golf Pass which includes about 20 golf courses located in the   Emilia Romagna region, from the coast to the hinterland as far as Parma   and Piacenza. The Boni family in therefore able to offer golf packages   which will meet for sure its guests' needs. Among the offers you can   find 10 golf courses within a range of 80 km from the coast. The Golf   Club of Cervia (27 holes) is located southern of Ravenna and can be   considered one of the most visited golf course in Italy. The golf   players agree that everywhere else the prices are quite expencive, the   average price for a green fee on the Adriatic coast or in its hinterland   is instead quite affordable, it costs about 40 or 50 Euro and moreover   you also have a big choice in golf courses.

Beside the Adriatic   Golf Club in Cervia also Rimini offers a 18 hole golf course. A   top-class experience would be the Golf Club in Bologna which  is a   superb 18 hole golf course which we do recommend. We should also mention   other well-kept courses namely the Golf Club Le Fonti not far from   Imola, the Argenta Golf and the Riolo Golf Club. The Riviera Golf Resort   in Cattolica and the Golf Club I Fiordalisi in Forlì are small 9 hole   golf courses. If you do not have a lot of time, you will find it   convenient to play here.

On the Adriatic Coast the high season   goes from mid April through end of May and from September until late   November, when in a lot of other places the bad weather does not allow   to play outood anymore. The Adriatic coast can be easily reached by your   own car and on the way there you can even find some gorgeous golf   courses like Verona Golf Club, Ugolino in Florence and the Modena Golf   Club, which was succesfully created by Bernhard langer.
