The golf club is situated in the charming Sillaro Valley,  which enjoys a mild and salubrious microclimate. It is surrounded by  gently rolling hills and ancient ravines and other geological  formations. The area boasts impressive, top quality health and thermal  spa facilities (including the thermal spa at Castel San Pietro and the  "Salute Più" health village).

The golf course, which is par 72  and covers a total of 6,480 metres, is extremely varied and fun and the  club house boasts a top quality restaurant where guests can enjoy  delicious local food and wine, served with incomparable hospitality.

Along  with the surrounding area, the golf course, which overlooks the thermal  spa and is close to the medieval town, offers a number of catering,  recreational, cultural, sports and music facilities and guarantees all  guests a pleasant and unforgettable stay. In 2006 and 2007, the Le Fonti  Golf Club hosted the Qualifying School for the Ladies European Tour.

Since  2007 it has seat of the Federation Ladies Training Centre and is also  home to a golf academy that boasts extremely modern facilities where it  is possible to organise individual and group golf clinics with club  instructors and international­ level professionals.

SEASON: open all the year round, closed Tuesdays (except bank holidays).

HOW TO GET THERE: A14 motorway from Bologna to Rimini, exit at  Castel San Pietro Terme, drive toward the town, and then continue to  the spa (the club is opposite the spa).

NEARBY PLACES: Bologna (20 km), Imola (10 km), Brisighella (30  km), Faenza (35 km), Ravenna (60 km), Bologna airport (30 km), Forlì  airport (50 km), Rimini airport (60 km).

NOT TO BE MISSED: The thermal spa at Castel San Pietro, the towns  of Castel San Pietro and Bologna, the Salute Più Health Village, the  racetrack at Imola, the Sforza fortress in Dozza, the horse racing track  Ippocampus, and the Factory Outlet at CastelGuelfo.
